Help and Support LFA, Southeast Florida Chapter

Over 1,400,000 Americans, including 27,449 in Southeast Florida, have Lupus, a chronic auto-immune disease that causes the body to reject its own cells. Every year, 16,000 new cases are diagnosed. Every year, over 5,000 people die. We know of no cause. We have no cure.

To make a contribution to the chapter, please make your check payable to the LFA, Inc. - Southeast Florida Chapter. Checks can be sent to 75 NE 6th Avenue, Suite 223, Delray Beach, Florida 33483. To charge by credit card, please call the Chapter office.  We accept Master Card, Visa and American Express. (Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.)

The following volunteer opportunities are also available. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these ways, please fill out this email form (or print it, fill it out and mail it in).

  • Health Fairs - someone with knowledge about lupus and the ability to communicate about it

  • Creole Speaking Volunteers - to work with the Haitian population answering questions and informing

  • Spanish Speaking Volunteers - to work with the Spanish population answering questions and informing

  • General Office Work - to help with the mailings

  • Computer Software Expertise - someone to give additional training on the Microsoft Access Program.

 
   

LFA Southeast Chapter provides support and services in:
Brevard, Broward,Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties
